Westminster Christian Academy
Why I Love Westminster

Westminster is truly our 'partner' in the educating of our children. It provides a Christ-centered environment that focuses on the whole person.  Strength of character and academic excellence is the by-product of making God the number one priority!

Tuition and Fees

Tuition and Fees Schedule 2010-2011

Grade Level Annual Tuition 12 Monthly Payments
Pre-K3 $2280 $190
Pre-K4 $2880 $240
Kindergarten $5160 $430

Tuition is due by June 1, 2010 unless arrangements are made for monthly installments. Parents arranging to pay in monthly installments must pay a yearly management fee of $100 per student. This fee is due with the first monthly installment. Monthly installments will begin in May and will be payable through April.

Tuition Discounts

Families enrolling more than one student will be given a tuition discount. The oldest student in a family will be considered the first student and will pay full tuition. Discounts for additional students are as follows:

$275 a year for the second child in Kindergarten - 12th grade
$350 a year for each additional child in Kindergarten - 12th grade
$150 a year for the second or each additional child in preschool

Application Fees

An application fee of $150 must accompany each application.

Please note: The entire tuition or the first three monthly tuition installments (including the yearly management fee) must be paid on or before the student’s first day of school, regardless of when he/she enrolls. The first four monthly tuition installments or 4/12 of the total tuition are nonrefundable even if a student withdraws prior to the first day of school. Parents are obligated to pay for the entire school year if a student withdraws after his/her first day of class, regardless of when he/she enrolls.

Financial Aid

We desire that no student be denied a Westminster education on the basis of finances alone. For families who qualify, some assistance may be available. Although the school's financial aid fund is modest, students who cannot afford full tuition should not hesitate to apply for admission. The need for assistance will not be considered in the admissions process. Financial aid applications may be submitted along with an application for admission; however, the admissions process must be completed before an applicant can be considered for aid. Westminster uses the School and Student Service for Financial Aid (SSS) to determine a family’s financial need. This reported need is the basis on which financial aid may be awarded to admitted students. SSS financial aid applications are available through the Admissions Office. Because financial aid funds are awarded in early spring and the SSS requires a three-week processing time, applications must be submitted to the SSS no later than February 15. Applications submitted after February 15 can be considered for minimal assistance only.

Westminster is an approved GOAL Scholarship school. The application deadline for this scholarship is March 15th. Please see www.goalscholarship.org or contact our school for details.
